Motorola is steadily pushing Android 11 updates to its eligible smartphone. Expanding the list, the company has now added Verizon’s Motorola One 5G UW to its Android 11 list with the latest update.
In addition to Android 11 goodies, the update brings March 2021 security patch for system security enhancements. It can be identified by software version RPN31.Q1-51-30-1.
The Motorola One 5G UW was launched back in October 2020 with Android 10 pre-installed. So, this is the second major OS update that brings Android 11. As for the changes, the update should all the Android 11 features which include chat bubbles, improved device controls, easy media controls, permission auto reset, one-time permission to apps that requires mic, camera, or location access, and system optimizations.
If you’re a Motorola One 5G UW user then you would have already received the Android 11 update. If not, then manually update your phone by navigating to Settings >> About phone >> System updates then tap on “Yes, I’m in” to start downloading the latest update.
