WhatsApp Beta Brings Video Note Camera Mode to Android

WhatsApp is testing a new feature for Android users that makes sharing video notes easier. This update is part of the beta version 2.24.14.14.

The big change is a new camera mode just for video notes. Currently, if you want to make a video note in WhatsApp, you have to press and hold the camera button in the bottom corner. It’s the only option right now, which can be a bit limiting.

WABetaInfo reports that the newest Android beta (version 2.24.14.14) is trying out a brand new approach. When you tap the camera button in a chat, you’ll spot a new option alongside the usual Photo and Video modes. It’s called ‘Video note.’

While this feature makes things simpler, it also saves time. This new method gives users more flexibility in how they create video notes. It’s all about helping people communicate more easily through short videos.

Right now, only some beta testers can try this new camera mode. WhatsApp will slowly give more people access to it over time.

If you have signed up for WhatsApp beta testing, then. You can install this from the Play Store, but you have to manually download and install the beta apk from any trusted third-party website.
