Also, we have seen the launch of the web platform for WhatsApp which has been called as WhatsApp Web and it can be accessed from web.whatsapp.com
Apart from that, the social messaging app underwent a major change which was because of Facebook buying WhatsApp and we also knew that the app has now been managed by Facebook. However, it has been decided that there will still be no ads in WhatsApp as promised from the launch of the app which has been agreed on by Facebook.
We also saw that there were many features that were added to WhatsApp in the recent times and most of them all was the ability to share images as well as videos as our WhatsApp statues which can only be seen for the next 24 hours after which they will be invisible.
Facebook May Let Users To Set Instagram stories as their WhatsApp status
This feature is also seen to be a copy of the feature that was first available on Snapchat as Snapchat Stories and it was later introduced in Instagram as Instagram Stories. Now, we are getting news about a new feature that is being tested by WhatsApp which lets you share your Instagram Stories as WhatsApp status. Now, this feature will be available on Instagram where a popup will appear to share Instagram Stories as soon as they are posted on WhatsApp as status. One thing to note is that the WhatsApp status will show the Instagram logo if it was shared via Instagram Stories. This feature will soon be available for Instagram users as it is currently in testing stages.
