How to unlock all classes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Even though many people feel that unlocking in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is difficult, it is not. In fact, almost nothing will be required of you to unlock all classes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. All that you need to do is progress through the game’s storyline and complete different quests.

As you’re progressing through the game’s storyline, temporary characters will be joining your group.  When you’re completing quests with one of the characters, you’ll automatically unlock new classes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It’ll be worth noting that you’ll unlock the class that belonged to the temporary character. So you’ll know in advance what character classes you’ll get after completing the quest.

As soon as you’ve got a new class, you’ll immediately equip one of the characters with it. Your character will need a bit of time to learn a new character class.

How to change classes in the game

Once you’ve got unlocked new classes, you’ll want to equip your character with them, and here’s how you can do it –

  • Head over to the main menu in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
  • Open the Characters tab
  • Choose the character whose class you’re looking to change
  • Select one of the classes available for the character

It’s worth noting that even after unlocking many new classes, not every character is able to get them. Going to the list of character classes, you’ll see three class types – locked, available, and in training. With locked and available, everything is very clear. The third option might cause you a bit of perplexity. Classes that are in the process of learning indicate how close the character is to obtain the class. Simply, you should keep playing and your character would be able to use this class after a while
