Xiaomi Bloatware List – SafelyRemove Bloatware on MIUI 14/13/12

Xiaomi is popular in the smartphone industry for providing good value for money phones. But, the phones ship with a large number of bloatware, also called useless services. These unnecessary apps or bloatware come pre-installed as system applications. So, users do not have access to remove these from the device settings.

Removing the bloatware reduces the number of services on your phone, which may increase the device’s performance up to some extent. In this guide, we will use the complete list of Xiaomi Bloatware and the steps to safely remove it from your phone.

Bloatware removal is an easy process that does not require root permission. All you need to have is the ADB & Fastboot tool on your phone. The list given below includes all the bloatware found in MIUI 10, MIUI 11, and MIUI 12. These can be safely removed and it do not cause any problems to your phone. If you want to remove required system apps such as camera, file manager etc, then make sure to install an alternative for the app. We recently added a dedicated guide for HyperOS users, you can check it out here: How to uninstall Bloatware from HyperOS (Debloat)

Steps to Remove Bloatware on Xiaomi Phones

The Bloatware on Xiaomi phones can be removed in four ways. The first two methods do not require root permissions, while the third one requires root access. Proceed with any of the methods, as per your choice.

[Note: replace <package name> with the name of the package you want to uninstall. We have already given you the list of useless packages, that you can remove here.]

  • You can delete useless packages one by one, using the above command. If you want to install all the services in one go then use the steps given below.
  • Download Xiaomi Bloatware File and then extract it using any of the ZIP extractors. You will see a file “MIUI Bloatware File”.
  • Change the file extension from ‘.txt’ to ‘.bat’ and save it.
  • Now, copy the file and paste it where the ADB and Fastboot files are located on your computer and run the batch file.

  • Tap on Uninstall button
  • Then, confirm the bloatware removal by tapping on “Yes”
  • After removal, if you face any problem, then open the Xiaomi ADB & Fastboot Tools and then tap on “Reinstaller” button to re-install all the deleted packages.

3. Using Android Application

If you have a rooted Xiaomi phone, the you can easily remove the bloatware through an Android app. Use any of the bloatware removal app listed below

  1. Hello, are all these apps safe to remove? I once removed the security app and my phone got in a bootloop, so I want to be sure it is safe to remove the bloatware apps.

        • No, I don’t think so as Gpay needs google services. So that will work. You shouldn’t delete any core Google apps and Core Mi apps like gallery or camera.

  2. You mentioned:
    >Do not install the following services, as it may lead to soft brick.
    >
    > com.miui.securitycenter
    > com.miui.securityadd
    > com.xiaomi.finddevice

These packages were preinstalled and when I removed them the device broke. The screen froze on MIUI logo after reboot.

  3. hello,
    I have uninstalled everything possible.
My mobile works fine in general.
but the only thing, when I activate the system Apps update. These are found, they are downloaded, but finally they are not installed…
What “com” should I reinstall to normalize it?
    Thank you
ps: xiaomi Mi 10t lite, miui global 13.0.6.0 stable, sjseuxm, 6/1/22

      • Of course.
after uninstalling the vast majority of what is indicated here above.
the phone works well in all its functions, except in the action of updating the system applications that I have left without uninstalling the device.
I receive the notification of the existence of these updates, but when I try to update they are unable to be installed (neither by Wi-Fi or mobile data, manual or automatic, nor by restarting).
On the other hand, I can easily update user apps (play, fdroid, etc.)
I deduce that one of the dozens (adb-shell) of removed command lines is responsible.
Before I factory reset the device, I wanted to know if you had any idea which specific command could be responsible.
        regards

  4. Is it safe to uninstall the com.xiaomi.mibrain.speech (XiaoAISpeechEngine), It’s starting to cause some inconvenience to me whenever I accidentally touch my Bluetooth Earphone.

  5. Hello ! At first thanks a lot for this tutorial, it help me well !
I got an issue, after several tries, by using your .batch file, my phone is always stuck in a Bootloop.
(I already tried to disable and after remove the most annoying bloatware – in my mind – manually, but I had an issue with my sms sending, they were extremely delayed)
I never removed any ‘core’ app, I trust your list, maybe it need little update 🙂 ?
I will continue my investigation …
    Thx and bye !

    • It is associated with the Hidden Hardware Test Menu (CIT) on Xiaomi devices. The CIT menu is a tool provided by Xiaomi for users to perform hardware tests on their devices. This menu can be accessed by going into the “Settings,” tapping on “All specs,” and then tapping on the “Kernel version” four times. Alternatively, for devices running Android One, you can access this menu by opening the Phone app and dialing ##6484##
