Xiaomi Mi 10 May security patch with version V11.0.5.0.QJBMIXM rolls out, adds support for NavIC

Finally, the Xiaomi has rolled out the delayed  May 2020 security patch update to Xiaomi Mi 10. The Xiaomi Mi 10 users have reportedly started receiving the update in India. This is an incremental update which has some new features as well.

The update brings software version V11.0.5.0.QJBMIXM. It aims to fix all security vulnerabilities and improve system stability and performance. Along with all these fixes, the update brings support for the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (NavIC)

Just like all the firmware updates, it is being rolled out via OTA and in a phased manner. You can manually check the software update on your device whether it’s available on your device or not. Head over to the device Settings –> About Phone –> Check for Software Update. The update will be rolled out globally in an incremental manner and it should take some time to appear on all the units.
