Today, Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun shared the Geekbench score of the Snapdragon 888 SoC when tested in Xiaomi Mi 11. The device managed to score 1135 points in the single-core test and 3818 points in the multi-core test. He further compared the result with the Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 865 chipset, which shows a huge performance gain.

A couple of days ago, Qualcomm officially revealed the benchmarking scores of its latest processor. The company used a reference device for testing in the benchmarks. In Geekbench 5, the average single-core score was 1,135 and the average multi-core score was 3,794. When tested with Mi 11, the single-core score didn’t get any impKirinrovement, but there’s a slight increase in the multi-core score (from 3,794 to 3,818).

Qualcomm has completely re-engineered the Hexagon processor which can now deliver 26TOPS unlike the 15TOPS in Snapdragon 865. The new Adreno GPU supports 144fps gaming and supports updateable GPU drivers. The chipset integrates Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon X60 5G modem and offers sub-6 and mmWave 5G support. The 8 cores include 1 Cortex X1 prime core clocked at 2.84GHz, 3 Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and 4 Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
