Xiaomi Mi 11 tipped to launch in January 2021

The upcoming flagship series from Xiaomi reportedly called Mi 11 is tipped to launch in January 2021. Last year, the company announced Mi 10 series at the Qualcomm event. So, this time again Xiaomi may follow the same pattern and announce the Mi 11 series at the upcoming Qualcomm event which is scheduled for December 1.

Today, a reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that Xiaomi Mi 11 has been sent for network certification in China. This further hints at an imminent launch of the Mi 11 series, most probably in January 2021. The Mi 11 series reportedly includes two smartphones, Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro.

Recent reports reveal that the Mi 11 will feature a 108-megapixel primary shooter. The Pro model is expected to bring QHD+ resolution display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The Mi 11 series smartphones could bring some new features such as MEMC, SDR to HDR unmapping, Super resolution, and AI upscaling.

Qualcomm is most likely to unveil its next flagship chipset that is Snapdragon 875 at the event. Rumors are rifle that Mi 11 series will be the first to feature this new chipset. This chip reportedly has one Cortex-X1 super core which gives about 23% higher performance than Cortex-A78. There is not much known about the Mi 11 series smartphones yet. But, we’ll have more information as the device gets more and more closer to the launch.
