Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has already received the Android 10 update a couple of months ago. Currently, the company is rolling out the Mi A2 Lite August 2020 Patch update based on Android 10. Though there are no major features or improvements included in this update, it just brings the latest security patch fix. All the interested users can now download this update manually from the link below.
Talking about the August 2020 Security Patch Level, it fixes the high-security vulnerability in the Framework component that could enable a remote attacker and cause damage easily. Xiaomi’s Mi A series devices are promised to get two years of major Android OS update and three years of latest security updates.
Now, the new Mi A2 Lite August 2020 Patch software update carries a new firmware version 11.0.10.0.QDLMIXM based on Android 10. It’s rolling out as an incremental update that will take some time to arrive on all the units.
Meanwhile, the interested users can check for the software update from Settings -> About Phone -> Software updates. Alternatively, users can also manually download the firmware file below and flash it by following the guide below.
