Galaxy S24 to get One UI 6.1.1 in August with more AI features

Samsung has packed the One UI 6.1.1 update with new Galaxy AI features. While fans are curious about the One UI 7 Beta, Samsung is busy bringing these new AI perks to the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra.

As per IceUniverse, One UI 6.1.1 is a big deal. Samsung is breaking its usual pattern by releasing this One UI 6.1.1 update to non-foldable phones, which never happened before. The update brings new AI features and will start rolling out in August.

When can we expect the One UI 6.1.1 to roll out to the Galaxy S24 series?

The Galaxy S24 series should get the One UI 6.1.1 update in August, right after the rumored Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10 in Paris. This might delay the One UI 7.0 release based on Android 14.

Not only the S24 series, but the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will also launch with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1. Later, this update will be available for other foldable devices and tablets. However, the new AI features will only be on select Galaxy models.

Inspired by Apple’s iOS 18, which uses AI with OpenAI and ChatGPT, Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 will have similar AI-driven features. This follows the trend of using advanced AI to improve user experience.

Some of the AI features include Circle to Search, Live Translate, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Wallpaper, and Interpreter. These features are popular with Galaxy users, and Samsung aims to lead in AI-powered mobile experiences with One UI 6.1.1.
