Samsung Galaxy A05s receives One UI 6.1 Update

Samsung has been rolling out One UI 6.1 update to its devices be it in flagships segment or enetry level. Now the South Korean giant has rolled out the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A05s.

The update is currently being live in some Asian countries. We can expect the update to expand other regions in the coming days or weeks.

The latest One UI 6.1 update based on Android 14 for the Samsung Galaxy A05s is tagged with the PDA version A057FXXU3CXE6. The download package of the update is approximately 1.4 GB.

The One UI 6.1 update brings some of the AI features which were released to the flagships. As there are limition with the hardware of these budget devices, all the AI features can’t be added. It also improves the stablity and overall performance of the device. It includes the latest May 2024 security patch and updates several stock apps to their latest versions.

One UI 6.1 gets new features and improvements over the previous interface. Improvements have been made to Gallery, Calendar, Widgets, Lock screen, Security, Clock, and other apps, delivering a smooth and intuitive user experience.

To manually check for software updates, go to your phone’s Settings. Scroll to the bottom to find the Software Update section and open it. If a new OTA update is available, you can hit the Download and Install button to proceed and wait for the installation to finish.
