Verizon has recently rolled out the latest May 2024 Android security patch level for the Galaxy A12 carrier-locked model in the United States which includes plenty of security risk fixes and overall device optimization for better performance. The latest firmware version SP1A.210812.016.A125USQS8CXE6 has been included with this release.

In case, you haven’t received the OTA update notification yet, head over to the device Settings menu on your device > Tap on Software Update > Hit Download and Install. However, if the update still has not arrived on your Verizon-specific variant, don’t worry. You can either wait for a few days or manually install the firmware using the Samsung stock firmware installation guide.
