US locked Galaxy A21 bags June 2024 security update

Samsung put out a new incremental OTA update for the Galaxy A21. This update includes the June 2024 Android security patch. The update is currently available in the US for locked models on the Verizon network.

The June 2024 patch addresses over 55 security vulnerabilities. These fixes include issues with the grid image display, battery statistics services, call verification, and the Samsung Dialer app.

The update has just started to roll out, so it might take a few days to reach everyone. If you have received the update notification, you should install it right away.

To update your phone, go to Settings. Scroll down and find Software Update. Open it and tap on Download and Install if there’s a new update. The phone will start updating itself.
