Samsung is spreading its July 2024 security update to more Galaxy phones. The update is now reaching the Galaxy S23 FE, adding to the list that already includes the Galaxy A55, S22, and S24 series.
People who have the Galaxy S23 FE can get this update via an OTA. The update is about 262 MB in size. It can be identified by looking for the One UI build version S711BXXS4CXF8. It is available in India.
This update fixes more than 55 bugs, including some serious ones in Android found by Google, making the devices safer from threats.
Samsung also improved security in the parts of the phone that manage the main screen and files. Besides fixing security issues, the update makes the phone run smoother and adds new features that make it easier to use.
Samsung is sending out the new update in stages. You might get it immediately, or it might take a few days. It’s smart to install the update as soon as you receive it.
If you haven’t seen a notification for the update yet, you can check for it yourself. Just go to your phone’s settings, find ‘Software Update’, and click to download and install it.
