Google Photos can bring Cinematic Moment to Videos

Google has continuously tried to update their products and services in the last few years. But 2024 seems a moving year for Google in several aspects. Now, multiple reports out that Google Photos can bring Cinematic Moment to Videos for Android. Google Photos is considered one of the best-in-class gallery applications on Android irrespective of the device models or Android OS versions. Well, it’s not like it comes pre-installed on Android devices but the app gets updated with new features & improvements quite often.

The Google Photos app is also powerful enough when it comes to editing options like Portrait blur, removing blur effects, Magic Eraser, etc which helps users to make their photos and videos perfectly memorable. Now, Google is working on another new feature in the Google Photos app that will come soon. We’re talking about the ‘Cinematic Moment’ feature which is under the development process and expected to come inside the video editing option on Google Photos.

In case, you’ve already found this name familiar, you’re almost right because Google Photos has a similar kind of feature called ‘Cinematic Photo’ under the “Utilities” section. Users can easily convert any still image into a cinematic photo to make it look like a GIF or short clip which works with the in-depth data to create a short clip. In that scenario, the main image object moves slowly in the foreground against the background which creates a parallax 3D effect.
