One UI 6.1 update rolled out to Galaxy A23 in the US

Samsung Galaxy A23 users on the Verizon network are now getting an important software update. The device has now picked up the One UI 6.1 update from Verizon in the US.

The One UI 6.1 release identified as build A236VSQU4DXE6 is rolling out. Nearly 2.2 GB in size, it provides improved security via the May 2024 patch while also introducing helpful app updates.

One UI 6.1 adds new features and improvements to the previous One UI version. All the stock apps, like Gallery, Calendar, Widgets, Lock Screen, Security, Clock, and others, have all been improved to provide a more seamless and intuitive user experience.

To get the update, open the Settings app on your Galaxy A23. Tap on Software Update, then select Download and Install. Now follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

The update is being rolled out in stages, so it might take a few days for it to be available for all models. If the update isn’t available yet, you can follow the Samsung stock firmware installation guide to manually install the latest software version, depending on your model and variant.
