June 2024 security update for Galaxy S22 series is out

More than 50 vulnerabilities were addressed, with 37 in Android and 22 unique to Samsung software.
Improvements to performance: The dialer app, tools for making calls, monitoring battery usage, and display quality all received minor improvements.

The update comes with a build version as follows:

  • Galaxy S22: S901BXXSAEXEC
  • Galaxy S22 Plus: S906BXXSAEXEC
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra: S908BXXSAEXEC

The update is rolling out in a phase-wise manner, so it may not have reached all S22 phones in Europe yet. The update will be rolled out to additional regions over the coming weeks, as it is a phased rollout.
