The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is receiving a new software update in Europe. The Korean giant has been actively expanding the latest June 2024 security patch release to more and more devices.
The latest update includes the June 2024 security patch. The main focus of this version is on security improvements, stability, and bug fixes.
Key changes in the update:
More than 50 vulnerabilities were addressed, with 37 in Android and 22 unique to Samsung software.
Improvements to performance: The dialer app, tools for making calls, monitoring battery usage, and display quality all received minor improvements.
The update comes with a build version as follows:
- Galaxy S22: S901BXXSAEXEC
- Galaxy S22 Plus: S906BXXSAEXEC
- Galaxy S22 Ultra: S908BXXSAEXEC
The update is rolling out in a phase-wise manner, so it may not have reached all S22 phones in Europe yet. The update will be rolled out to additional regions over the coming weeks, as it is a phased rollout.
