One UI 6.1 update rolls out to Galaxy M04 and F04

Samsung is sending out its newest One UI 6.1 update to two more budget phones. Now, you can download this update for the Galaxy M04 and Galaxy F04 smartphones. These affordable phones, which came out in 2022, will get the latest features from Samsung’s new UI.

For the Galaxy M04, the update version is M045FXXU7EXE4, and for the Galaxy F04, it’s E045FXXU7EXE4. You’ll need about 1.4 GB of free space to install the update smoothly.

One UI 6.1 brings helpful changes like improved gallery search filters, custom lock screen widgets, updated wallpaper options, revised calendar settings, and Google Search suggestions within the main app menu.

To check for the update, Galaxy M04 and Galaxy F04 owners can go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. It’s best to back up data and ensure a charged battery before beginning the process.

Please ensure that you have backed up all your data prior to installing the update. Although the update will not delete your data, it is always advisable to secure a backup in case of an emergency. Before commencing the installation, ensure that your phone is at least 50% charged.
