Asus Zenfone 5 Lite gets Android 9 Pie update

Asus has started rolling out a software update for the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite device officially. The update contains Android 9 Pie version with some of the bug fixes and system improvements as well. The Asus ZenFone 5 Lite (ZC600KL) smartphone launched this year with quite good specifications. This handset is also known as ZenFone 5Q/ZenFone 5 Selfie Pro in some of the countries. The firmware comes with the version number of 16.0610.1905.79 which is around 2.02GB in the file size. The changelog only contains OS upgrade to Android P.

Asus provides software updates gradually and it will take some days to roll out completely. In order to check the OTA update manually, go to Settings > System > Software update.

Specifications: Overview

If you forget the device specifications, here we have mentioned it for you. The ZenFone 5 Lite came with a 6-inches full-HD+ display with 1080×2160 pixels resolution. The device is powered by SDM430 SoC with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It was running on Android 8.0 Oreo and currently receiving Pie update. The handset packs a 3,300 mAh battery.

In terms of the camera department, it packs a 16MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens and a secondary 8MP sensor with an LED flash. Whereas the device features a dual selfie camera of a 20MP + an 8MP sensor.
