Asus has released a new software update for its popular budget-friendly all-rounder smartphone called Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The handset was released back in April 2018 with some great specifications at its price point. The new software update is available as FOTA (firmware-over-the-air) and brings updated June 2019 security patch, dark theme bug fix, and Digital Wellbeing function. It comes with a 5.99-inches Full-HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. The device is coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options. It has a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. The handset came with Android Oreo Stock UI out-of-the-box and now running on Android 9 Pie stable version.

The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants feature a combination of 13MP and 5MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. While the 6GB RAM variant gets 16MP and 5MP dual sensors and a 16MP selfie camera. The front camera supports face unlock feature also. It packs a huge 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. The handset has Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, dual Nano-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, GPS, etc.
