Galaxy A31, Galaxy A12 get November 2021 security update

Samsung’s November 2021 security patch has already dozens of phones, from high-end to budget category. Now, the latest security patch is rolling out to the Galaxy A31 and Galaxy A12 users in various regions.

The latest software update for Samsung Galaxy A31 is reportedly rolling out in Caucasus countries, Russia, Ukraine, or Uzbekistan. It is bundled with the firmware version A315FXXS1CUK2 and brings the November 2021 security patch. The update is unlikely to bring major changes like UI changes or new features. However, it might include some general bug fixing and device stability improvements.

Coming to the budget-friendly Galaxy A12, the device is also receiving the November 2021 security patch via the latest OTA update. The update has started rolling out in Russia carrying firmware version A125FXXU1BUK1. The newest security patch includes fixes for dozens of system security and privacy-related vulnerabilities.

Samsung Galaxy A12 or Galaxy A31 users in the specified regions have started receiving the November 2021 security update. It will surely expand to more regions in the coming days. To manually check for the new update, navigate to Settings >> Software updates, and then check for new updates.

Both Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A31 were released last year running Android 10 OS. Thanks to a major upgrade, the devices are currently based on Android 11 OS, and both are eligible for the Android 12 update as well.
