Galaxy A42 users in Poland officially bag the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update

Samsung developers have been busy releasing the new Android 12 based updates for their flagship and high-end smartphones in the last few weeks. Recently, the brand started rolling out this update for mid-range smartphones like Galaxy A52, Galaxy A72, and more as well. Now, another name has been added to the list, Samsung Galaxy A42.

The Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update is being rolled out for Galaxy A42 users in Poland and it comes with the firmware number A426BXU3CUL9.  The update is expected to roll out to other regions in the coming days and weeks. However, the update will only come with the December 2021 Security Patch, which isn’t the latest one from Samsung.

Changelog for the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 Update

The new Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for Samsung Galaxy A42 will the build number A426BXU3CUL9 and has already started to be pushed for the users in Poland. Apart from the security fixes and enhancements included in the December 2021 security patch, this update will also improve the overall stability of the functions. This means that the update will feature many general under-the-hood improvements as well as bug fixes, which will only improve the user experience.

The new update will bring in a totally revamped UI design, accompanied by the Color Palette feature that is inspired by Google’s latest “Material You” feature. It will bring in several new widgets, new widget designs, as well as the latest widget picker UI.
