Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra get June 2024 security update

Samsung has released the June 2024 security update for the Galaxy Note 20 series (Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra) smartphones, further enhancing the devices’ security and stability. The update is currently rolling out in Europe and the US, with a one-UI build version ending in HFX1.

The latest security patch addresses 37 high-level CVEs for the Android OS, along with 22 SVEs (Samsung Vulnerability Extensions).

This update addresses various issues, including those affecting grid image display, battery statistics services, call verification, and the Samsung Dialer app.

If you haven’t received a notification yet, you can manually check for the update:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on Software Update.
  3. Select Download and install.

Remember, just like all other incremental updates, this one is too rolling out in phased manner and may take upto a few days for the update to be available all across the globle and all devices.
