Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Tab S8 users in India have now started receiving a new software update. The latest OTA update brings the March 2022 security patch. The devices are also in-line to receive the One UI 4.1 update, which adds a handful number of new features.

Earlier this month, Samsung started rolling out the March 2022 security update for Galaxy S10 Lite in several other countries earlier, which is now expanding to India. The latest software update comes with the firmware version G770FXXS6FVB7. The package has a download size of 190MB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, too, has now started receiving the March 2022 security update in India. It can be identified by the firmware version X906BXXU1AVC5. The March security update for Galaxy Tab S8 started rolling out last week. And, Samsung didn’t take much time to start expanding it to more regions.

Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S8 March update

If you’re a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 or Galaxy S10 Lite user in India, then you are likely to receive a notification for the March update, if you haven’t received it already. Those who are still waiting for it should navigate to Settings >> Software updates to manually check the status.

Except for the Galaxy S10 Lite, all other Galaxy S10 series phones have already started receiving the One UI 4.1 update. As the days go by, Samsung is expanding the list of devices running One UI 4.1. And, it should not take too long for the update to hit the Galaxy S10 Lite.
