The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has started receiving the April 2024 security update in India for the Exynos-powered models, following the update’s release for Snapdragon variants.
The new software update carries the One UI build version G990EXXS8FXD1, which users can refer to when checking for the update’s availability on their devices.
This April 2024 security update brings improved system security and stability, aiming to enhance the overall user experience. By incorporating the latest security patches from Google and Samsung, the update protects the Galaxy S21 FE against potential security vulnerabilities and threats.
To install the update, which has a package size of 248.39MB, users should head to the device’s Settings > Software update > Download and install. The update is currently based on One UI 6.0, but Samsung is expected to release One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S21 FE in the near future.
