Galaxy Tab S7 FE receives December 2022 security patch update with One UI 5.0

Samsung has started rolling out the latest security patch update for its devices, with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 being the first to receive it. The December 2022 patch update also comes with the stable One UI 5.0 and is now available for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE.

The latest software update has the build number T736BXXU1CVL1 and includes fixes for 5 Critical, 60 High level, and 2 Moderate Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs). The update is currently available in the UK.

Software updates not only include improvements to device stability and bug fixes, but can also bring new and enhanced features as well as further performance improvements. To ensure that your device is running at its best, it’s important to keep it up to date by regularly checking for new software updates.

Before you update your device, make sure it is connected to the internet and download the update over a Wi-Fi connection to avoid any errors. To check for and install updates on your Samsung device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Scroll down and tap on “Software update” or “System updates”. The exact name may vary depending on your model.
  3. Tap on “Download and install” or “Check for system updates”. If an update is available, it should start downloading automatically. In some cases, you may need to tap on “Download now” to start the process.
  4. Once the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.

It’s important to note that not all devices will receive the update at the same time, so if you don’t see it available on your device yet, don’t worry – it should be coming soon. In the meantime, you can continue to use your device as usual and check for updates regularly.
