Honour 8x users have started getting the official May 2020 security patch update via OTA (over-the-air). The update brings the software version number 10.0.0.198(C675E14R1P1) to Honor 8X.
The update is currently being rolled out in a phased manner, so it may take a few days to reach all Honor 8X devices in the country. As it is an incremental update, the OTA size is very small weighing around 99.73MB.
Many users have reported about the update in India. The latest May security EMUI update mainly focuses on the security of the device. If you are Honor 8X user, then we highly recommend you to update your device.
