How to Enable OEM Unlock on Xiaomi Mi Note 3: Here in this guide we will go through all the steps to enable OEM Unlock on Xiaomi Mi Note 3. OEM unlock is an option hidden under developer options. This is a very important setting. Without enabling it you can’t unlock the bootloader and with a locked bootloader, you can’t root your device or install any custom ROMs and kernels.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is a mid-range device from Xiaomi. It comes equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display screen with full HD resolution of 1920x1080p. The device is powered by a powerful Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 Hexa-Core processor, Adreno 510 GPU coupled with 2/3 GB RAM and  16/32 GB ROM storage capacity. It houses a non-removable 4050mAh Li-Po battery.

It comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (upgradable to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) firmware. It sports a 16.0 MP rear camera and a 5.0 MP front camera. It has all the connectivities options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB OTG, and more. For the price, it is one of the best devices of its time.

  • First, you have to enable the Developers options from settings.

  • Inside Developer Option, scroll down to OEM Unlocking and enable it

  • Now add your Mi Account details and login.
