You’ll find the Force Gun in Dead Space once you reach the Chapter 6. In this Chapter, you’ll have to go to the West Seeding Room. Once you have reached this place, you will be required to have Security Clearance Level 2. It is required so that you can open the door. To get the Security Clearance Level 2, you will need to complete Chapter 2.
Once you have found the Force Gun by visiting the location mentioned above, you’ll want to upgrade the weapon. There are three upgrades available – Subsonic Oscillator, Gravitic Amplifier, and Suspension Module. To get the upgrades, you will have to perform certain steps.
Subsonic Oscillator Location
This upgrade can be found in the Chapter 6. It’ll be added to the shop once you’ve got the weapon. After getting it, you’ll be able to purchase the upgrade for just 12,000 credits.
Gravitic Amplifier Location
This upgrade can be found in Chapter 10. It will be available in the Deluxe Quarters. For getting this upgrade, you’ll need to destroy the second tendril and restore the power to the circuit breaker for reactivating the doors.
