Huawei Honor Holly 3 to get VoLTE support by May end.

Huawei has been a top-manufacturer in China region and the company has now been shifting its focus towards the global market as well. There were reports last year which stated that Huawei is already the third largest brand in China with the company slated to overtake major companies like Samsung in China atleast. We have not heard much from the Huawei brand in terms of providing software updates to its phones but they could be giving the updates as well. Now we have some reports to share about one particular device from Huawei and that is the Huawei Honor Holly 3. This phone is slated to get the VoLTE update very soon and the reports suggest that the phone will receive the update at the end of next month.

For a brief recap about the phone, let us remind our readers that Huawei launched Honor Holly 3 last year in October with Android Marshmallow. The Nougat update is expected to be rolled out soon. The phone sports 5.5 inches IPS LCD display with Emotion UI 4.1. Powered by Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 620 clocked at 1.2 GHz paired with Mali-450MP4 GPU, the phone packs in 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable upto 128GB.

The Honor Holly 3 flaunts 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, LED flash while upfront we find an 8MP selfie snapper. To keep the lights on, there’s a 3100 mAh battery non-removable battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and it comes in three color options — Black, White and Gold.
The update is still a long way away and the update should be a big one for the phone now that VoLTE has been gaining some traction among mobile users as well as telecom operators. We have seen JIO launching VoLTE service in India and AIRTEL is also planning to launch this service on its network. This makes this update utmost important.
