The Galaxy A41 is receiving the January 2023 security patch, which is a rare event as the phone no longer receives One UI firmware updates. The update can be identified by the firmware version A415FXXS2DWA2. The update is rolling out simultaneously in many markets, including Europe, the Caucasus countries and Uzbekistan.
The January 2023 security patch fixes over 50 “high” vulnerabilities in the Android OS and also addresses some issues with Samsung software such as Secure Folder and Samsung Knox.
Install Galaxy A41 January 2023 security patch update
Users can install the update by going to the Settings menu, selecting Software Update and then tapping the Download & Install tab to download and install the firmware. Users can also download official firmware files for a manual update by following our guide: Where and How To Download Samsung Galaxy Stock Firmware
The company is phased rolling out these updates in these regions. It may take a few days before all devices are updated and ready to use. So you can be patient with the arrival of the update. You can also opt for the manual method by downloading the firmware and installing it manually. We don’t recommend this as it’s not very technical and not a good option for the average user.
