A list of phone manufacturers releasing regular Android security patch updates.

We have been busy reporting about all the android manufacturers updating their devices with the March Security update this month and some even have been doing the february update in March or some manufacturers are not even updating their phones with the Android Security update regularly. Google has released a ‘Security Year in Review’ for their work they have done in the year providing monthly security updates and keeping the Android Platform Sake for use to the consumers for personal as well as corporate data security.

Google has also been keeping a note of Android Manufacturers and their phones running the Android version and the security patch date version through the Google Play services installed on the phones. This report actually doesn’t include China even though China has large number of phones running android but without the Google Play Services so Google will not be able to know their status. Nevertheless, Google has kept a close look on whether the Android manufacturers are providing timely security updates and have rated them based on rating of 60-95%. This list understandably includes most of Nexus and Pixel devices as we expect but there are also some other manufacturers.

The list includes devices like the OPPO A33W and the VIVO V3 Max which are mid-range phones.
