The Lenovo-owned Motorola brand is rolling out a new software update for the Motorola One Action device. The update offers a stable Android 10 update in Brazil and brings the December 2019 Android Security Patch Level to the device. Additionally, the Motorola One Action Android 10 update also brings the system-wide dark mode, gestures navigation control, and more.
It bumps up the new software version QSB30.62-17 based on Android 10 that comes in a size of 1.2GB. Now, all the South America region based Motorola One Action users should receive the firmware OTA update very soon. However, it’s expected that the OTA update will roll-out in batches and it will take some time as well. So, make sure to check for the OTA updates on your device via Settings – System – Advanced – System Updates.
To recall, the handset was launched in August 2019 with Android 9 Pie over the Android One program. Now, the device is getting the latest security patch and the Android OS version together. The December 2019 security patch brings the security vulnerability fix to the framework component that could enable a remote attacker to cause a permanent denial of service.
Now, the users in other regions will get the Motorola One Action Android 10 OTA update very soon. So, except for the South America users, they should have to wait for a few days.
