Motorola One Vision September 2019 Security Patch rolling out

The Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola has launched Motorola One Vision in May 2019 with a punch-hole display, 21:9 CinemaVision aspect ratio, Stock Android, and more. Motorola provides Android One program which offers guaranteed software updates. Motorola has mentioned that they will provide two years of major Android updates for sure due to the Android One support.

The software update brings the latest September 2019 Android Security Patch level to the system. It also brings system stability, general bug fixes, etc. Whereas, the device got May 2019 security patch in May month this year which brings camera improvements, face unlock, and system stability fixes. While the Moto One Vision Global variant only receives the September patch according to the changelog.

While some of the reports are coming out that the device will gonna receive Android 10 update by December 2019. Though there is no official announcement made yet. Therefore, we have to wait for more info. Currently, the Motorola One Vision September 2019 Security Patch is rolling out in the UK.

Check OTA Update Manually

If you’re using the handset and wants to receive the latest update quickly then you can check for the OTA update manually on your device. Go to the device Settings > System > Advanced > System updates > Download and Install. Then you have to Restart your phone for once in order to apply the system update. The handset came with 6.3-inches LTPS IPS LCD display with a 21:9 CinemaVision aspect ratio. It’s a Full-HD+ 1080×2520 pixels resolution quality with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. There are two SIM variants for different regions such as single SIM and Hybrid Dual SIM slot. It’s splash resistant as well. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie with Android One program.

The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9609 SoC, coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 1TB via a MicroSD card. It has a dual rear camera setup of a 48MP primary f/1.7 lens, PDAF, OIS, and a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor. The rear camera features dual-tone dual-LED flash, PDAF, HDR, Panorama mode, etc. While the front features a 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture lens.

The device has a 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. In terms of the connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Micro USB. While the device features an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
