One UI 5.0 Beta Program goes live for Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 Series

Google recently released the stable version of Android 13 last month for a number of Pixel devices. Soon after that, Samsung began its own One UI beta program for its flagship models. The South Korean OEM released the One UI 5.0 Beta program for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series smartphones. Now, Samsung has started the One UI 5.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra.

Members in South Korea have started receiving the notification in the Samsung Members app and it features One UI 5.0 Beta for the Galaxy S20 Series. Moreover, the Note 20 Series will also be receiving Android 13 at the same time.

The One UI 5.0 Beta Program will soon be arriving in other regions including North America, the UK, the EU, and Asia including India. If you want to try Android 13-based One UI 5.0, you should join the One UI 5.0 Beta Program by tapping on the banner in the Samsung Members app. However, keep in mind that only unlocked Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices will be eligible.

To register for the One UI 5.0 Beta Program, the Samsung app will be mandatory. You’ll be getting a notice about the One UI Beta Program inside the Samsung Members app. Of course, it should go without saying that you must have a Galaxy S20 or Note 20.

  • Download the Samsung Members app from the Play Store
  • Launch the Samsung Members app
  • Go to the notice section and you’ll see a new One UI Beta Program link
  • Once you’ve enrolled in the beta program, you should go to Settings -> System Updates -> Download OTA updates
