The OPPO A78 5G is the latest device to receive IMDA certification, indicating that it is set to launch in the near future. The CPH2483 model number reveals that it is part of the A78 series and will support 5G connectivity.
According to the IMDA certification, the A78 5G will also support LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS. This is in line with previous leaks from the Bluetooth SIG authority, which revealed that the device will run on ColorOS 13 and support Bluetooth 5.3.
The FCC certification also gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the A78 5G. It suggests that the device may come with a 5,000mAh battery, which may support 33W fast charging. The dimensions of 163.8 x 75.04mm are similar to the OPPO A77 5G, indicating that it may feature a 6.56-inch display.
Despite the IMDA certification, little else is known about the OPPO A78 5G. However, with the certification now in hand, it is likely that we will see more leaks and details emerge in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for further updates.
