Oppo Find X, R17, & R17 Pro get ColorOS 7 Beta Update (Android 10)

The Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has recently announced the ColorOS 7 trial version for a couple of devices based on Android 10 in India. Oppo Find X, R17, & R17 Pro gets ColorOS 7 Beta Update (Android 10) which is very good news for all the Find X and R17 series users. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno 10X Zoom, Oppo Reno 2, Oppo F11, Oppo F11 Pro, Oppo Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition, and Oppo Find X SuperVOOC Edition are also included on the list of Android 10 Beta update.

As we all know that the ColorOS 7 is based on Android 10 that brings new system UI, system-wide dark mode, three-finger screenshot management, improved user experience, polished icons, and more. It also offers improved smart sidebar, focus mode, pause button in screen recording, DocVault, all-new Soloop video editor, new live wallpapers from ART+, additional editing options in recordings, new color accessibility mode, etc.

Oppo has announced that the ColorOS 7 Beta testing opens 2,000 seats for the Oppo Find X users and 4,000 seats for the Oppo R17 & Oppo R17 Pro users. The beta testing program rolls out to test out all the features and system stability before releasing the public stable update.

So, if you’re one of the Oppo Find X / Oppo R17 / Oppo R17 Pro unit users and waiting for this update for a while, you can register for the beta testing program. Just go to the device Settings – Software Update – tap on the gear icon on the upper right corner – tap on the Trial Version. An application form will appear, you will need to fill-up the form with valid details, select Terms and Conditions – hit on Apply Now option. You will get a successful application confirmation message on the display.

Once done, wait for a few minutes and check for the software update manually. If not available, make sure to restart your phone and check again. It will most probably appear the new software update is available – tap on Download Now. The best part is that if you don’t want to stay in the beta version, you can cancel the Trial version and can go back to the previous stable Android version.
