Realme has released an update for its Realme 10 5G and 10S 5G smartphones in India and China. The update includes Realme UI 3.0 build versions A.09 and A.07 respectively. The update bump the system security to December 2022 security patch.
The update promises to fix various bug fixes and improve security of the devices. It also optimizes network performance. This is a minor but much needed update for these devices.

How to Access the OTA Update
The December 2022 security patch update for the Realme 10 5G / Realme 10S 5G is gradually rolling out to users and can be accessed through the following steps:
- Go to “Settings” on your device
- Select “About device”
- Tap on “Official version”
FYI, the Realme 10 5G and 10S run on Android 12 with Realme UI and have MediaTek Dimensity processors and a 90Hz refresh rate. Realme has not yet announced the rollout of Android 13 for these devices, but it is expected in the first quarter of next year.
