Realme is doing a good job in rolling out the latest security patch to as many devices as possible. The company has now started sending a new software update to Realme 3 Pro and Realme 5 Pro with April and May 2021 security patches.
The update is rolling out in India with software versions RMX1851EX_11.C.17 and RMX1971EX_11.C.14 respectively for Realme 3 Pro and 5 Pro. In addition to new security patches, the company has added improvements to system performance and stability in the latest update for both smartphones.
This is a minor security patch update which does not bring any new feature or changes to the user interface. If you’re a Realme 3 Pro or Realme 5 Pro user in India then you might have already received the update. If you haven’t, then manually check for the update by navigating to Settings >> Software update.

Realme 3 Pro and 5 Pro were launched back in 2019 pre-installed with Android 9 (Pie) OS. After receiving one major OS upgrade, the phones are now running on Android 10. And, both the phones are also eligible for Realme UI 2.0 update which is based on Android 11. As per the official rollout plan, Realme 3 Pro and 5 Pro should enter into the Realme UI 2.0 beta program in June 2021.
