The October 2021 security patch update has started rolling out to the Realme C25 and C25s. It is expanding in India, bundled with the firmware versions RMX3193_11.A.24 and RMX3197_11.A.15, respectively.
The new software update was announced through blog posts (1, 2) on Realme Community Forum. According to the changelog mentioned there, the update mainly brings the Android security patch level to October 2021. Additionally, it optimizes system stability and fixes some known issues.
As always, the new software update for Realme C25 / C25s is rolling out in a staged manner. So, a limited number of users will receive the latest build in the coming days and then a broader rollout. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings >> Software update.
Realme C25 and C25s are the company’s pocket-friendly phones launched earlier this year with Android-11 based Realme UI 2.0 skin. The company has already started working on Realme UI 3.0 skin, which is based on Android 12. Hopefully, these two will make their way to Realme’s Android 12 eligible devices list.
