Realme Q launched in China with a quad camera and more

Oppo sub-brand Realme has finally launched the Realme Q in China under 15K price segment. This may be another series apart from the recently launched Realme 5 series. The device packs the quad rear camera setup and powered by the Snapdragon 712 AIE SoC. There are three memory variants available and opens for pre-orders in China.

The device display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3+, packs the latest LPDDR4X memory, UFS 2.1 storage, and more. While the device also offers a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor along with AI Face Unlock option. It runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Meanwhile, the handset also supports Oppo VOOC fast charging.

Realme Q Specifications

The new Realme series phone comes with a 6.3-inches Full-HD+ display along with 1080×2340 pixels resolution quality. It’s powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. While the device storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

It packs a quad rear camera setup of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor (f/1.8), an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field-of-view, a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4), and a 2MP portrait lens (f/2.4). The rear camera also features an LED flash, AI Portrait mode, HDR mode, PDAF, EIS mode, and more.

While on the front side, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens which includes 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to offer improved low-light selfies. The device sports a 4,035 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. All other connectivity option and sensors are available in this device.

Price and Availability

The 4GB+64GB variant has been priced at CNY 998 (INR 10,000 approx) in China. Whereas the 6GB+64GB variant has been priced at CNY 1,198 (INR 12,000 approx). Finally, the higher 8GB+128GB variant has been priced at CNY 1,298 (INR 15,000 approx) in China.

The device will be available in Light Green and Light Blue color options from September 9, 2019, in China via the Realme official website, JingDong Mall, Suning, and TMall.
