Realme X7, Q2 Pro, and V15 pick up August 2022 security update

Realme is pushing a new software update to three of its mid-range phones – Realme X7, Realme V15, and Realme Q2 Pro. As you might have expected, the OTA update primarily brings the August 2022 security patch. Hold on! There are more changes that are detailed below.

The latest software update for the Realme X7, Realme V15, and Realme Q2 Pro has the F.06 build version. According to the changelog shared by RMupdate, the devices are getting August, as well as, July 2022 security patches. In addition to this, the software update optimizes system performance to improve device stability.

If you’re a Realme X7, Realme V15, or Realme Q2 Pro user, the August 2022 software update can reach your phone anytime. If you haven’t received a software update notification yet, go to Settings > Software update to update your Realme phone.

Realme Q2 Pro and Realme X7 were announced back in 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. A year later, the company announced Realme V15, but it also came with Android 10 OS.

While Realme X7 and Realme V15 have already got upgraded to Android 12, the Realme Q2 Pro is still stuck on Android 11. However, the Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta program has already kicked off, meaning that the stable version should roll out in the coming weeks.
