V12.0.7.0.QJOINXM – February 2021 security update hitting Redmi Note 9 users in India

Xiaomi starts rolling out February 2021 security patch update for Redmi Note 9 users in India. Ahead of the India rollout, the update has already reached some other markets including Turkey and EEA.

V12.0.1.0.QJOCNXM: Redmi Note 9 MIUI 12 China Stable ROM

In addition to a new security patch, the update improves device performance by optimizing overall response speed, app launch speed, system feature responsiveness, and optimizes Camera for faster access. It also fixes multiple issues which are triggered due to insufficient RAM resources.

The latest update for Redmi Note 9 is based on Android 10 and carries software  version V12.0.7.0.QJOINXM. It may take few days to reach your smartphone. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the latest builds by heading to Settings >> About phone >> System update
