For the past few months, Google has been rolling out the new Android 13 updates for eligible Pixel smartphones. Unsurprisingly, Google has already started working on the upcoming Android 14 update and Samsung will be following suit. In this guide, you will get to know all about the Samsung Android 14 – One UI 6.0 update, the expected release date, supported devices, and more.

Expected release date of the Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update

Android 14 will be the 14th major version of the Android OS and it is expected to be released in August 2023. Android 14 is expected to be called “Upside Down Cake”.

As per XDA Developers, the dessert name of the upcoming firmware has been spotted in the Android Gerrit. It is impressive to see Google trying to hold up the tradition of dessert code names for its Android versions. It is rumored that the Android 14 will likely be a significant update. However, there is also a likelihood that it could be a minor update. It is expected that the users may see huge improvements in user privacy, app control, device security system, and notification management.
