Samsung Galaxy A11, Galaxy A12 receiving September 2021 security patch with the new update

Samsung has updated the most number of smartphones with the September 2021 security update and has not slowed down the rollout pace. It has now released the newest security update for Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A12 users in specific regions.

According to the Sammobile report, the September 2021 security update for Galaxy A11 is has started rolling out in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru. It is a minor security patch update. So, don’t expect anything like performance improvements or changes to the user interface (UI).

Samsung Galaxy A12, on the other hand, is reportedly receiving the new software update in Russia and Ukraine. It is bundled with the firmware version A125FXXU1BUI3. September 2021 security patch for Galaxy phones fixes nearly 50 vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy.

Samsung Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A12 users in the specified regions have started receiving the September 2021 security update. To manually check for the new update, navigate to Settings >> Software updates and then tap on Download and install button.

Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A12 are budget offerings from Samsung which were launched last year with Android 10 out of the box. A few months ago, both the devices received their first major OS upgrade, as a result of which, the devices are running Android 11.
