Samsung has started rolling out the May 2024 security update for its flagship Galaxy S24 series smartphones in Europe. The update was first released for locked models in the US. It is now making its way to Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users across the European region.
The May 2024 security update brings system security, stability optimization, functional enhancements, and bug fixes to the Galaxy S24 series devices.
The latest security patch includes fixes for 45 vulnerabilities, with 33 of them originating from Google. Among these, 3 are classified as Critical, and 26 are labeled as High-level CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures). Additionally, the update features 25 Samsung-specific fixes, further strengthening the security of the devices.

The updated package size is around 450MB. To install the update, navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and install on your Galaxy S24 device.
