Samsung Galaxy S8 Oreo Beta 3 Update to release soon

Samsung has recently released the flagship smartphone from the company in the Galaxy S series this year which is the Galaxy S8. This smartphone is also the successor to the flagship smartphone which Samsung released last year that was the Galaxy S7. This smartphone was launched with Android 7.1.1 Nougat along with TouchWiz UI which is the custom skin of Android from Samsung. However, we have known that Google released the Android 8.0 Oreo update some time ago and now the update is running on most of the Google Pixel and Nexus devices.

However, it is also a concern that the Android 8.0 Oreo update has been pretty slow to roll out to other devices around the world. This also includes the Android One devices which were released some time ago and have been promised to get the latest update before the end of this year. Now, Samsung released the beta update to Android 8.0 Oreo for their Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones some time ago and the stable release of the update is expected to be followed after a successful beta test.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Oreo Beta 2 Update is halted

Now, one thing that we have to note about the Samsung Galaxy S8’s Android Oreo beta update is that it is a public one meaning that anyone can opt-in for the test. Now, we have known that there have been two Android Oreo beta test updates till now for the Galaxy S8.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Oreo Beta 3 Update

However, the company halted the second beta test update which is codenamed as ZQK6. This means that the company will soon release the third beta of Android 8.0 Oreo beta for the Galaxy S8 very soon. We have known that the error ‘com.android.phone has crashed’ was the reason why Samsung was forced to halt the second beta as the error makes it impossible to call anyone which makes it very difficult to use the phone as a daily driver.
