Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 finally gets One UI 6.1 update with AI Features

Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy Tab S8 series in the US and Europe. Previously, the Galaxy Tab S9 series received the update. The update is currently being rolled out in a phased manner via OTA.

The update comes with a PDA version ending with CXE2, brings new Galaxy AI features, call & message continuity, and improvements to user experience and performance.

One UI 6.1 allows users to make calls and send texts from any device, switch between them seamlessly, and continue conversations on another paired phone or tablet. The update also introduces several AI-powered features. You can check out all the One UI 6.1 features in our detailed article.

To install the update, navigate to Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. If the update is not yet available over-the-air (OTA) for your Samsung Galaxy device, it’s advisable to wait a bit longer because these updates often roll out in stages. It will be available in other regions shortly.
