Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G on Verizon network bag the One UI 4.1 update

Samsung has officially started rolling out the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for numerous devices including Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 (5G) and Galaxy Z Fold 2 (5G). The handsets in the USA running on Verizon will be receiving this update.

The update will come with the firmware version F926USQU1CVC5 and F916USQU2GVC5 for Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G respectively. The update has already started rolling out in the USA. The update will be released for other models in the coming days and weeks. Interestingly, the update will add in several features like Live Sharing in Google Duo, Game Booster Labs, App Cast in Smart View, Camera enhancements, and more. Aside from those features, the update will also improve system security by installing the March 2022 Security Update. It’ll come with fixes for 62 vulnerabilities and threats including 2 critical, 29 high, and 19 moderate levels of CVEs.

Samsung’s latest One UI 4.1 update will come with new camera features inspired by the Galaxy S22 flagship series. The devices are receiving new camera tools including pet recognition, night portrait functions, improved Director’s view, and lighting position editing functions. It is also noteworthy that the new update will include telephoto portray video mode and there will be Google Duo Live Sharing, improved Health app, Object Eraser with Shadow & Reflection Eraser, and Grammarly integration with Samsung Keyboard.
