Today, Samsung has released a new security update for its Galaxy S22 series. This security patch fixes vulnerabilities in firmware version S90xU1UES2BVL4 and is currently rolling out to carrier-unlocked units on AT&T , Comcast , Cricket , US Cellular , Verizon and Xfinity Mobile .
The update can be downloaded through Settings or manually with the firmware file following this guide. The Samsung S22 series was originally released with Android 12 installed but received an upgrade to Android 13 shortly after launch.
It will receive 3 more updates of the Android OS in future as well so users can stay up to date on their devices’ software protection against any potential threats.
